Rowing/Sculling Programs
Since 1987, the Texas Rowing Center has been teaching the sport of rowing to people around Austin, the country, and the world. Specifically, we teach the sport of sculling, which is the most symmetrical form of rowing. Our sculling boats are the flagships of our fleet and provide the swiftest way to tour Town Lake. We have the finest fleet on Town Lake, and the guaranteed lowest-priced membership/lesson packages for sculling in Austin! (We will beat any competitor’s package!) We have skilled and friendly coaches ready to help you learn one of the most relaxing and fun ways to stay in shape! Our skilled and friendly coaches provide new students with one-on-one coaching through our six session Introduction to Rowing Course.
Furthermore, your class schedule is completely flexible and is tailored to your schedule, not someone else’s. Unlike our competitors, new students are coached in one-on-one classes, rather than in large classes. And you select your own class schedule by choosing class times from our class schedule that includes classes taught every 90 minutes around the clock from 7am to 7pm Monday through Friday, and from 8:30am to 1pm on Saturday and Sunday.
